Bananas – Madagascar

Bananas

Bananas are a highly nutritious fruit.

Bananas

Bananas are grown in at least 107 countries, primarily for their fruit, and to a lesser extent to make fiber, banana wine, and banana beer and as ornamental plants.

Bananas can be grown in tropical and sub-tropical regions.

The Caribbean Islands, South American countries, S. E. Asian countries are major producers of bananas.

Bananas are a crucially important food crop. The vast majority of the world's bananas today are cultivated for family consumption or for sale on local markets. India is the world leader in this sort of production, but many other Asian and African countries where climate and soil conditions allow cultivation also host large populations of banana growers who sell at least some of their crop.

The banana is one of the most popular fruits worldwide. Banana growing and harvesting are labor intensive.

Pricing is crucially important with bananas. Madagascar has competitive banana prices.

As we construct more storage & packing units, our Madagascar banana export business will expand quickly. We intend to also diversify into dried banana production.

Creator Universal cooperates with banana growers in Madagascar. The cooperation is supported by the Madagascar Government. Creator Universal has made commitments to increase the export of bananas from Madagascar, to develop profitable businesses processing bananas, to provide revenue and to provide employment to the people of Madagascar.
